OUR MISSION
Our mission is to eliminate violence and offer comprehensive support through advocacy, community education, and inclusive services. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families affected by violence.
OUR HISTORY
Village Against Violence was founded in June 2019 by Shavon Ragsdale, driven by a personal commitment to ending violence and supporting victims. Initially focused on addressing critical needs in the Richmond, VA area, our organization has since expanded its services and positively impacted many individuals through our programs and community outreach efforts.
